Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I park?

Feel free to park in any one of the designated spots.  Visitors may not be aware that additional parking is available behind the church as well; just turn to the left side of the main parking lot when you first drive in and you’ll see a small driveway by the side of the church, which leads to the lower level.  Either lot is acceptable on any Sabbath you wish to attend.

What should I expect when I visit?

Spiritually speaking, we’d like for you to expect to have a personal encounter with Jesus and have your mind be lifted heavenward.  Logistically, we have a song service in the Sanctuary from 9:15-9:30 a.m., after which we divide into Sabbath School classes. Currently, there are two adult classes – one in the Sanctuary and one downstairs in the Fellowship Hall.  Attend whichever class you like.  If you attend more than once – try both!  We also have classes for all ages, so your children will be welcomed in a class with age-appropriate activities.  Ask a greeter for guidance as to where to go.

Do you kneel during the service?

Yes. During worship, the congregation will typically be asked to kneel during prayer time.  If you are unable to kneel due to physical constraints, please do not feel awkward about that.  You can just stay seated.

What's your cell phone policy?

We do ask that cell phones are turned off during the service in reverence to our Lord.

What should I wear?

We do not have a specific dress code policy. Please wear what is comfortable to you and, at the same time, be respectful to God as you visit His house.

Do you have a mother's room?

Yes, a mother’s room is located off to the right of the sanctuary.  Parents are encouraged to use the room during the service as their little ones grow and learn appropriate church behavior.

Do you have any services for the hearing impaired?

Yes, our church is equipped with a hearing assistance system. If needed, simply ask for a receiver from the audio-visual booth in the back of the Sanctuary.

food, i need food...

We currently have a fellowship luncheon on the first and third Sabbaths of the month, after the worship service.  Visitors are most welcome to attend and there is no expectation for you to bring a dish to share. Just come and break bread with us!
